about

I made this in a day for RPM 2018. It is mostly loop-based improv with some other stuff recorded in my apartment in Allston, using the most accessible instruments in my apartment, namely:

-a 3D printed ukulele
-PO-12 drum machine/tiniest music apparatus available
-my 8 string electric (the acoustic has still not fully rehumidified)
-uke bass
-piano horn
-guitarulele
-FL Studio (conch bass, song organ and EP, sampled melodica, VL-tone)

I hadn't made anything on my own in about 3 years, and that was definitely bugging me, so I'm glad I was able to see this one through, even if doing it in one day was far from ideal.
Special thanks to Zane for pushing me to do something for this, my coworkers for letting me be (fake cough) sick every 28th, the Southern Reach trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer, and Rachel, for constantly supporting my desire to destroy myself to make art that very few people care about or see or hear, and in the process ruining the living room that she works so hard to keep in "not crazy person's basement" conditions.
