Not "da da da" by Trio

in glancing much askance around the brim of blotchy brick- it having little to no substance (but still seeming just as thick)-
I sense the thrumming line that hems the clouded state- or something seemingly I once knew... but you semaphored gone
We talk like weather-
swapping sun but mostly moisture
stone and sand and buildings,
years of well meant failure
make the mapping muddy
trying to find where we still overlap
To clean a crack-ed lens with scraps of borrowed rag- to bend the light around but not through- must make the shameful little twists
probe with the sharpened hair the rock without a form from a skull that's also not mine or especially warm...
we talk like weather
swapping sand and sullied water
stone and silt and structures
years and years of failures
stacked and scrunched and buried
bog down and beleaguer
streams from poisoned puddles
all pinched to a trickle
don't know if there's flow here
been a year of blunders
scared to clear the blockage
and find out if we still overlap

M Words for 1,000

Milk away my misery most mirthlessly I must
Moribund at matinee- mornings also bust
meeting minutes- muttered, mumbling- papers mainly muss
mild but too mean for any "us"
Mashing down the mania to murky, mottled must
my many local maxima- reverse mellifluous
make me anxious, maybe panicked- goodness I mistrust
malleable to maybe only bust
mark me missing- minor mutt
mitigating all while making my own mess
Melting into monotone
made missing under crust
mostly muddy middling
mull without much fuss
Muck and mire I'm fed up with- trapped beneath pale rust
molder mutely save for means and murmurs
masking my lack of pluck and mettle or any measure which mentions not to just
mark me missing- minor mutt
mitigating all while making and mistaking all that's breaking to be-
molten mush that's meaningless
pesky pain I'd rather puke up and out
not nubbins of nobler neediness
that Onan-esque obliterate themselves on my omission

Real Day/Fake Day
03:32
|

Feel good to poke a dirty little hole in the great big cold and empty mountain with the grubby tiny little finger on any damn Tuesday or Friday-
On any real day or any fake day.
Drink the juice of 'stare into the sun'. Make friends with the sharp and endless fire. Share secrets with the one and only mum. Make sorry for the stupid in the middle of every real day and every fake day- it's every real day and every fake day.

the shape of the sun is a very bad time or a very good time depending on the time
but the thing to not forget is that people like it at the same time or nearly exactly the same time
the shape of the time at any given time is a wheel built to crush you when thinking 'bout the time
and the wheel does not forget like everyone forgets- no, the wheel won't just "let it go" this time
And to know the street may mean to hate the street but one hand cannot hold the street in
and to use the phone may mean to hate the phone but never hate the phone within
the shape of the time is a very bad time and a very good time at exactly the same time
and the thing to not forget is to forget everything and drink the juice of "every of the time"
Ring Ring! Ring Ring! It's calling you!
Ring Ring! It's calling on the phone!
Ring Ring! Ring Ring! It's calling you!
Ring Ring! It's always from Unknown-
