Heeeeeeey- Ok, so I've been sick today, so this is going up way later than I thought. I watched a video earlier about how few popular or "likeable" songs that were truly Locrian in modality (the main cited example was "Army of Me", which was pretty cool!), so I decided that I would try to make something pleasant with locrian. I ended up going the "sorta-bossa" route. I wrote a very boring chord progression in Ionian (the regular major scale) and just used the relations in Locrian: for example, the original would have been A Bm A D for the verses, but in locrian it's G# A G# C#, but as the "right" types of chords for the mode. There's some really instruments (guitars) and some sequenced instruments (drums and keys), and it's just kinda a little song that I was pleasantly surprised by how good it sounded with the oft forgotten 7th mode.
